Powwow is in a small iPhone beta. Email hello@dailypowwow.com if something breaks or feels confusing. Please do not send a child's name, answer, photograph, recording, private invitation link, or a screenshot that shows family content.

Using Powwow on more than one phone

Family access is optional. Without it, your family list and saved memories stay on the iPhone where you entered them. When the household owner turns on Family access, invited adults can open the same Powwow from their own phone. A co-owner can use the Powwow with you. A viewer can only read saved answers and play recordings. Only the household owner can invite, change, or remove account access.

If a sign-in email does not arrive

1. Give it a minute. The email is sent separately after you tap Continue with email.
2. Check Spam or Junk, Promotions, Updates, and All Mail.
3. Search your mailbox for “Powwow.”
4. Make sure you are using the exact adult email address that was invited.
5. Return to Powwow to send another link after the short wait shown in the app.

The sign-in link expires automatically and works once. If it still does not arrive, email hello@dailypowwow.com without including a family answer or recording.

If the reminder does not arrive

1. Open Powwow and go to Settings.
2. Check the reminder time.
3. If Settings says notifications are off, tap “Open iPhone Settings.”
4. Allow notifications, then return to Powwow once so the next reminders can be scheduled.

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, reminder time, and whether Powwow had been force-quit when you contact us.

Saved answers

Tap Save the Answers, choose who spoke, type what they said, and save. You can add another answer before closing the sheet. Memories lists saved nights in chronological order.

Exporting your archive

Open Settings and tap Export everything. Powwow creates a file on your phone and opens the iOS share sheet. You decide where that file goes.

Stop sharing

• An owner can choose Pause Family sharing to stop cloud access for the whole household without deleting the private copy.
• A co-owner or viewer can choose Withdraw and leave to remove their access and downloaded shared copy.
• Only the true owner can permanently delete the shared household.

Delete an account

Open Settings, choose Privacy and data, check the acknowledgement, and choose Delete account. Access ends after the server accepts the request. Households owned by that adult are queued for deletion, memberships in other households end, and a separate local-only Powwow stays on the phone.

The app may show Waiting to submit, Deletion requested, Deletion delayed, Needs attention, or Deletion complete. Do not uninstall while it says Waiting to submit, because the server has not accepted the request. Once accepted, cleanup continues without the phone staying open.

Delete local information or reinstall

Without Family access, Delete everything removes the local archive. Removing the app from your iPhone may remove it too. With Family access, the household owner controls the private shared Powwow, and a co-owner can leave it without deleting the owner's copy. Export first if you want a copy of the saved words; the export does not yet include voice recordings.

Beta feedback

Tell us what happened, what you expected, and where you got stuck. We are testing whether families return to the conversation, so honest “we forgot” feedback helps as much as a bug report.
